Yep lol rod holders still there 90% of the time,in 9 years ive had 1 fine no points. Not really any incentive to take it off. Who knows might get another 9 yrs till another fine.

Just cable tie the rod to the roof rack. If it's that much of a rush.

That is the reason theres a law against it. Because they are a contradiction to the stringent safety requirements of the the front of a vehicle
