Just cruisin some threads ... and wow, what a setup!
Been a while, so time for a bit of an update.
Tyre modification :'(
Some of the bits from the Suspension Stuff Flexi kit. Coils, coil rubbers, ext. rear bumpstops, f + R shocks etc... Rear tail-shaft has also been flipped 180 degs so that it doesn't hit on the crossmember on full droop. Brake bias bracket was also installed.
Yeah that's Stropp's feet
Finished product.
90W LED Lightbar
Added a second UHF antenna to the back so I can run a 6 or 9db depending on terrain. This frees up the bullbar antenna to run the 4.5 DB stick. The front and rear antennas are connected to the switch box mounted on the overhead console so I can switch between the two on the fly. Not the neatest looking place to install the switch box but I was limited by the cable length, but it serves the purpose.
Updated the maps for IGO8 also installed IGO Primo2 to try it out (like it so far). Also managed to get hold of a customisable menu system for the navigation screen. Navi menu now has icons for each program. The menu fires up straight away, so there is no need to navigate through the file manager when swapping between on and of road navigation.
Installed 20L Water Tank in rear quarter panel and removed 55L tank from top of drawers to free up more storage room
Installed the Auto Temp Gauge in a pillar pod.
Set of Hankook 315/75/16 MT's for play. Just waiting on the fifth rim to turn up.
