04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
ok fellas so have clearance from the other half. If I can make it how capable will I need to be. eg I dont have lockers etc. Will have the snorkel fixed hopefully this week. I got winch and recovery gear. I will try get the UHF installed this weekend if I am home.
Anything else I should focus on.
You should be right mate. Most of us don't have lockers but a good set of mud tyres would go a long way.
Got sick of Motorculture so gone back to Tappa
ahh i have a pick of 3 sets there lol.
33" bf km1's, 33" MT claws with bead locks (my choice pick) or a set of 35" MTZ's i picked up on weekend. Wanna run then on my beadlock rims but not sure if I will put them on until the claws are properly stuffed. I have the dreaded front end wobble atm so if I sort that I will there with bells on.
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!!....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!
Check out my Toy --> MudRunnerTD's GQ From the Ground Up
The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.
Live life, Love life.
Snatch straps on towballs can harm and/or kill!!!!!!

I'll see how i go for the trip. need some work to fit the 35's first n doubt I will get time for that before the weekend.
