got a light tune done last thursday at hitorque on 9psi till i get some mileage on the engine. made 381rwhp on 31's, and 319rwhp with 33's.. pretty surprised how much tyres can make a difference. made almost 900nm of torque though.
i have installed my new speedhut revolution gauges, they are probably the best gauges i have ever purchased. i will get some photo's up tomorrow.

Well I've just re-read the whole thread and am grinning from ear to ear.. what a weapon..
I'm interested in what you used as sound deadner in the cabin, and has it worked in your opinion?

Very neat build mate and brilliant attention to detail..
Any plans to build an air box and snorkel?

sorry i haven't kept you all updated, i have been very time poor between work and the patrol build. i haven't thought too much into the air box and snorkel yet as i have been per-occupied finishing off what i have, i still have shelves of parts to be installed. after weighing up the cost of genuine dynamat of over $1600 to cover the roof, floor pan and door skins (@ over $20 / 300mmx300mm) i decided to get the sound deadening from clark rubber. it is 10mm thick and adhesive backed, but more to the point $40 / metre and 1.5m wide, 10 meters to complete the whole car. I wasn't sure at first how effective it was, i covered only the 3/4 carpeted section, the exhaust was deafening to a point of nearly wearing ear plugs. after covering the last section, you can now hold a conversation and use hand free phone kits without a problem, definitely worth the money.

since my last post, i have installed central locking (i will get some photo's on how i have set-up the rear door actuators), alarm, re-wired my alternator with the correct inline resistor, lots of fine tuning and cleaning up wiring. i have picked up a new gopro black edition (great piece of gear), i've been planning on getting some footage to post up, i'll try and get it up during the week.

i've finally made up my mind with paint, im pretty indecisive and get sick of colours pretty quickly. I have decided on the plastidip removable gloss black with black pearl, a friend of mine has highly recommended it. it lays on approx 1.5mm thick and self flattening, so it will hide minor imperfections. it is surprisingly durable, my friend has a 350z coated with this product and left bat crap on it for several days, it did not even tarnish the gloss.

Your not serious are you?? Why would an ls1 suck when it can be easily modified, parts are readily available, they are reliable and come with fairly good economy out of the box?? I'd say to line them up but you wouldn't have anything to bring to the party, would you ??
