Mals hard case diff guard

I saw this guard off BA's car and its taken a good beating. I wonder what his diff would be like if he didn't have it. I'd love to get one, but with my gearbox playing funny buggers and now I have to replace my headlights, RHS got a hole in it and LHS rear globe clip snapped off, I need to get new lights.

SSS should have trol head lights mate, last time i got some for my vl a few years ago they where $55 each. They're Taiwanese but the quality is pretty good.
