Seriously, my mechanic has a policy of de-greasing engines if they're dirty before he services them, and I can't afford a degrease at the moment. I've got enough work and money to spend on it as it is!

thats alright Rosco put your pod on the back of my ute and take that god knows it needs a good run in the bush and it doesnt like being clean either because it shows up too much rust
Degrease the engine before he services it? He wouldn't go near mine then :-P I just shove the pressure washer over everything.. Usually fixes it!
Plus it's cheaper to service yourself and at least u know it's getting done proper!

Bump.......... Any more takers?
My folks went to the Google Play Store and all they got me was this lousy Motorculture App!!!!!!!
Bump, I am not attending due to the weather forecast which predicts high wind, thunder storms and rain, sorry but this old dog does not think that he can handle that sort of crap weather.
I do not want to get hit by lightning and then have a tree fall on me.
Seriously, it is not a good place to be when high winds hit, I have been through there and seen the damage that can happen, my personal opinion is that we postpone the trip but I will leave it up to everyone.
In view of what Wayne has said, I totally agree to postpone the trip. The last thing we want to see is members' trucks being wrecked by a falling tree, or worse. Having read what he has written, I'm pulling out, too. Sorry, but I don't think it's a safe place to be.
Regards.
