    MAF SENSOR zd30ddti

    Hi Guys

    I managed to round the torx head screw on the maf sensor. tighten it too much last time . does Nissan sell these screws separately or do I need to purchase a whole maf sensor for the screws ?

    You should be able to buy those screws from a good fastener supplier, you will need to take the old one to match the thread up.

    Just take a screw with you and go to bunnings. Who cares if I doesnt have the same screw head. As long as the thread is right.

    I probably should have mentioned this also! You will be able to get the screw in a phillips or allen headed capscrew quite easily.

    yep I might do that. at least will be easy to take on and off during cleaning intervals

    Only tighten it up finger tight too. A hard finger tight. Too tight and you will strip the plastic thread. Also add a little grease around the o'ring to give it the extra seal.

    Yeah I have bad habit tightening nuts bolts too tightly.
