Chevon (goat meat) was pretty normal for us, we raised our own. Not keen on chops - to chewy, but roast joints were good. Don't eat red meat any more though.

Have eaten turtle a couple of times. Once in Vanuatu & again in the Kimberley. Similar to beef.

Wild honey dug out from paperbark trees (complete with bits of wood in it) - yum. In the Kimberley.

Drank Kava in the jungles of Vanuatu, pre-chewed in the traditional way by pre-pubescent boy's from the tribe. Over did it and was sick or 48 hours - both ends!

Fresh octopus chunks. Yum. European carp is beautiful boiled with a gumleaf, then thrown on a barbie straight after a big fat yellow belly (Callop) has been cooked. It takes on the taste of the yellow belly.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

Last summer I was at the rubbish tip and swallowed a fly.

It was a Kodak moment for dry reaching. PML.

I ate grasshoppers in Malaysia when I was there. Deep fried just like crunchy chips. But when you find the legs in your teeth after its a bit rough
