Especially your free time I don't come cheap if I don't want the job like this one. I said a price which was I thought was out of the range but they actually said that sounds good even when I said they pay for all the timber and tin. My time on top.

Almost finished another day and all done then relaxing time

I had a client that had a Very unusual problem that they hoped my company could solve. I visited them the week before christmas and advised them that they had a completely different problem and the company that i work for could not help. I advised that it was a fairly easy job to do if you knew how to do it, told them how to do it and suggested they ask their son in law or adult kids to get it done. I was in business clothes and could not help.

They called me and asked whether i knew anyone that could do it....... I said well yes i could do it. On Christmas Eve, in 42 degrees, slogged away jacking up their verandah slab and footings. came up a treat. cost me my time and hire of 5 20ton jacks.

Ol' mate decided that i had done it easily and then did not want to pay the pre-agreed price. I suggested that he should have got his son to do it. I would have told him how to do it over the phone. It was a Slog of a Job. crawling in there for 7 hours. (I work at a desk normally) on Christmas Eve in 42 degrees, the day before had been 47!. I only did the job to fund my Christmas Holidays with my Family.

I got paid and had a good holiday! He sat on his new concrete Deck that had not looked so good for 18 years and his Kids got to do nothing.

    Merry Christmas.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

I'd rather that than the position I'm getting into.

Lot of anger today taking the kaymar bar off. Not so happy words out of me at some points, and few spanners flying about the place. But all is well now with a cold tinnie in hand.
