    Roofrack Dilemma

    Fellas

I've gotten (qualified) permission from the minister of War and Finance to buy a roof rack for my patrol..

I'm currently weighing up 3 options

    1. Alloy Tracklander - $1650 - quite simply the best there is. 32kg
    2. S/H Steel Tracklander - $600 - heavy MOFO (47kg), but still a tracklander.
    3. Midland Marine alloy rack - $700 - a couple of guys in the club have them and they seem to be ok

I'd obviously ideally go alloy tracklander, but that $1000 difference buys me an awning, maxtrax, jerry can holder & a shovel holder to go on the rack

Tracklander are great Jon, but for the price I would be checking out the Midland Marine and asking about their warranty mate.
It always comes down to money and how much you can save to buy other toys for your Patrol.

I might give them a call. Do you know anyone NOR who's got one of the MM racks? Ropes & GUFamily have them, but i think they're both down rocko way.

No sorry mate, ring them and ask them, they did a presentation to the WPC last year and seemed very knowledgeable about their products and very helpful as well.
