My hopes have been realised.
Our dams which rely on run off to fill them & which were dry & cracked just a couple of months ago are now overflowing.there are little waterfalls everywhere.
The total in our rain gauge from this event so far is now 232.4mm & light rain continues to fall. This has doubled our rainfall for the year in the past two days. Australian wood ducks are swimming across our front lawn.
Great stuff! Thank goodness for east coast lows.
