So more recently I've acquired an ex RFS Dean trailer, it's tough as nails, fitted 31's straight on and I decided I wanted to turn it into a camper trailer. However I didn't want ANY canvas as I felt there would be too much maintenance and it's only myself and the missus camping so we didn't need too much room.
I came up with a design, for an a frame of boxed in steel with a hinged door on gas struts for access to the top(sleeping quarters) and the sleeping section to also be hinged and strutted for inside the trailer access.
I bought a bunch of steel, and have started welding the main frame together, the dimensions are 2050lx1200wx900h (on an 1800x1200 trailer).
If anyone has any other ideas for it feel free to chip in.
I've attached a pic of progress so far
