    I like my stainless anyway
I might end up having to make mine from straws stolen from Maccas and the like lmao

I had a cheap on on the ZD30 - the template was crap and after it was fitted (done by TJM who did a great job. I was too bloody scared to core drill the panel) it did not sit as neatly as a safari or custom. Plastic seems ok so far, only 2 years old and it is watertight.
Seemed like a good idea at the time

I'm pretty happy with it but you have to be prepared to make your own template

Got to agree with one of the other users might be cheap to begin with but will cost more in the end when you do an engine, got got a genuine gu snorkel in great condition from the wreckers for $170 delivered , much cheaper than a rebuild .

"doing an engine". That's a pretty extreme scenario. As long as the snorkel is watertight youre fine. Even an expensive snorkel can be fitted poorly or in bad maintenance and not work

Cheap cars don't have a uv stabilised plastic. Armour all keeps them going if it is maintained. It is designed to stop the effects of prolonged uv exposure.
