You could make one fairly cheap. Heres mine, I like the look of custom snorkels better but its a personal thing

all they are is a airtight plastic tube that fit to your car. If they are airtight, and fit to your car then they're ok.

Yes, I'm referring to the UV impact Long term and their ability to cop a knock when they age.

yeah true but sometimes a product might be a quarter of the price but last half the time of a more expensive one. In the case of a snorkel, its a fairly easy thing to replace so maybe buying a cheaper one and replacing it again will last longer and be cheaper than buying a sinlge more expensive one first up.
    I like my stainless anyway

Just been having a bit of a think about this one, weighing up pros & cons etc etc........ Anyone know what the life expectancy is of a name brand such as Safari? $600 is a lot for a bit of plastic and yes I know it's supposed to be UV stabilised and tougher and seal better etc etc but if it only lasts say for 5 years and say the cheap arsed ones only last 2 years. Then it's appealing to get 8 cheapies for $75 each over 16 years.
As has been discussed in many many threads regarding cheap brands versus established brands not everyone can afford the well known brands and yes you could always save up for one but that's not always possible for quite a few owners.

    Just my 2c worth

    Don't slap it, tap it!!!!
