I also have a fast blow fuse/s on the power wire between each pump and the relay.

I can see the next thread now "Burnt GU" the full story :P
Hahahaha Sorry mate couldnt resist. It is nice however to see a little more friendly banter been thrown around its been a tad serious lately. It seems we may be over that way on sunday so if your not busy and the girl doesnt change her mind I might try and stop in

I happy for you to come around (if you can get "permission" from the boss ,hahahah), but the troll is still over at the WOVI place mate, and by the sounds of things (they are very busy and inspectors have been off sick), im not sure ill even see it by the weekend.
I tell you, If you saw where i had to leave the car, and the people i saw in this area, plus the fact that i can't get insurance on it till its registered, (and the whole situation really), you will understand why i wont be getting any real sleep untill i get it back !![]()
Is it at Logan lol
ha-ha,
The best way to describe how i feel is........ imagine if you had to leave your car parked overnight, at some seedy, dark ,back street train station car park, in some crime ridden area, plus you have no insurance on your car, and add to that you gave your keys to a complete stranger who holds no responsibility for any damage, and then your one night, suddenly turns into four nights or more..........![]()
I thought they renamed Inala.........![]()

Thank you so much that is brilliant... err which way is your relay wired..
Was almost thinking of running 2 compressors?????
Been having sleepless nights for 4 days now due to a cold and last night was building rear draws and compressor in my head while I lay there ???!!!!!
The relay has a total 4 connecting terminals (or pins) , 2 pins at one end (end A) will have markings that read 3-32V DC , one pin is marked + , this pin gets power when you flick your toggle switch ON, the other pin is the negative earth, and goes to the body of the car (or to a good earth)
The other end also has 2 pins (end B), and will have markings 100amps 30V DC , this end, one pin has the big power wire coming from your battery, the other pin goes to the power wire "in" for your compressor.
Ask the dudes at jaycar to explain it while in your hand if your not sure (BTW , they have a cheaper 40 amp version, that may be all you need)
Anyway, effectivly........... when you put power and earth across the pins at end A, the relay joins or connects the 2 pins at end B.
I only used 2 compressors because thats what i had, i used both at once because they are far from the most powerful flow rate in the world, plus only have a 20min duty cycle for my usage, so it made sense to double up (because i had 2 pumps anyway), i still liked the idea of using them and not buying faster pumps, as the ones i have are the TJM pumps, and are well known to be very reliable (important when they are hidden in your gaurd)
After that i decided it would not be much more effort to make them independant should a pump die.
If you can get a decent reliable pump with a good flow rate, i would probly not even bother with twin pumps to be honest
