I changed the globes over to a Narva or possibly Philips globe, and never had any dramas. Don't be tempted to go for the cheap HID lights, I used some on my truck and they were rubbish. Maybe 1km of beam but no spread at all. They were a dead set pencil beam and because of their mounting system they were either too high and shooting at UFO's or too low, just firing straight into the ground.


Bringing up an old thread but saves me from starting a new one, im also looking at buying some roo lite's but unsure on what way to go 180's or 220's. can I ask why you changed over the globes? are roolite globes no good or is it better to just change them over?
