Whats the difference in price between a Warn and a Tabor ?, and do you think the better material they use for the Warn brand costs them that same amount extra for them to make one ?

Am i reading it right, you are saying "any" no name brand winch for a $1000 is good ?

If.....that is correct, Tigerz winches are not good because they are cheaper than a $1000 ?, but if they charged over a $1000, they would move into the good cheap winch catagory then ?
Tigerz11,Roo, Super Cheap and BCF all are selling the Identical winch ranging from 500-700 buck 9500lbs
The reason I am against these winches is I know there very ordinary for what they are and the price.... And the Consumer are just another number, and money in there back pocket. HIgh turn over chucked in a box and Sold on.

This is the reason all this has started, the 2 companies that the 4x4 industries are up against have been ripping the 4x4 consumer off by suppling cheap Chinese accessories as high quality with no customer service or warranty to support it. And I know, I purchased a awning for the Patrol for the sole reason it was cheap and if it got ripped off the truck i wouldn't be concerned. It wasn't until the awning rocked 4 months after purchase I couldn't believe what I took out of the box. It was a un-finished joke. i complained and they didn't care they got my money And that all they wanted. This is why my hatred to these to companies started, and they have the balls to accused the big companies of Ripping us off for a long time.... The Likes of ARB have been leading the 4wd aftermarket here and around the world for years.... They build there 3 biggest accessories here in Australia.
The 2 companies i have Mentioned Runva and Kingone are companies that build and Designed winches, these are the companies we need to supports. And I have just looked at there Prices and they have dropped big time.

For example a Fourm Member has designed and hand make his Tyre deflator here in Aus..(Ferret) so me being a greedy lazy slob takes his hard work copies it. Then get it made using poor quality brass and fitting in china and sell it cheaper as high quality designed and tested in Aus. (Roo Systems Bull Bar) How will Ferret feel about this Product he has Proudly made...... Who is being Un- Australian here.
Roo system used a Tunit chip rebranded as there own and banged on $300. I know this because I bought a tunit chip direct fom Tunit Australian for my Ranger for $1100 Roo $1495, again who is being Un- Australian...

I dont know if this was the answer you were after, Im tired But I am Passionate about looking after the companies that invest time, money and R&D to make there Products..... Australian and Overseas Companies,
People are always after a the best price and get that, but for me its different...

I should have just mentioned that Warn also Do a Entry level good quality winch. As people many people dont relise this,Its based on there older style winches and are a bit slower. Opposite Lock sell then...
If your after a leading Chinese Winch Kingone are pretty good. Theres Kingone (sole Winch Company) Chinese winches and then there is Tigerz11 chinese winches

In the winch debate i decided to buy a second hand warn xd9000 for $500 instead of a brand new cheaper winch for around the same money. I did this because i felt confident that id have the warn for life even if i had to rebuild it a few times along the way. What helped me make this decision was that fact that the Warn winch web site listed (and had part numbers) for every single part of my winch so i felt confident that i had aftermarket support.

I have had my warn 9500 since about 2008, it has been used many times , and except for an installation fault by Arb which was sorted it has been brilliant .... So when you work out the real cost of having a reliable winch divided by the years it lasts the cost is nothing!!!
