Also on buying a paint ball marker you require a category a firearms licence to purchase own or posess one and will be treated poorly by the law should you have one illegally same as any other fire arm. Also the rechargeable canisters are compressed air same as scuba tanks need special gear to refill them as they can explode if not done right.
Not having a go at anyone just people buying these things overseas pleading ignorance to the firearm laws make it hard for us genuine shooters to leagaly enjoy our sport. This is the reason airsoft is banned never played it but takes paintball to the next level like going from a land cruiser to a patrol

I got shot in the nuts with a paint ball and it was just about the most painful thing I have ever felt... have a big vagarious vain in my nuts and when I first felt it I thought I had cancer of the nuts.... !!!!
And paint ball guns are fine tuned and if not looked after properly break down very easy....!!!
Only when you run out of paintballs and start pistol whipping your opponents.
So when we paintballing?? Lol
