    One of my tents.

This is a DIY creation that allows me to camp in sub zero temperatures and stay warm. That is my stepdad cooking up a stew on the wood fired heater.

I do a fair bit of hunting and prospecting especially down near glen Innes. We have been there in -6 so it's pretty freaking cold.

That tent 6m x 5m takes 2-4 people 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour but it has slept 7 people for five nights. I also have another one which is a copy of the 11'x11' military tent set up for the heater it takes 2 people under 15 mins to put up. So I only take the big one for longer trips when there is a few people.

The heater is made of 6mm plate so it is heavy 65 odd kg and gets around 5 hours of good heat on decent timber like gum. I am going to be building a light weight mkII soon enough.
