    Smoking depression :(

    It's a sad day when you've been smoking as long as your 98 GU 2.8TD patrol is old and it sounds as though it'll be easier for you to quit smoking than it will for your Patrol to quit smoking!

    Quit mate I did ,I used to smoke 50+ a day easy. now smoke free for nearly one year now.
    Saving a few bucks I think, plus can now breathe, best thing Ive ever done.
    Don't preach thats the last thing ppl want to hear, smoking is still legal

    I've always looked at smokers as if they are commiting very slow painfull suicide. You have to quit ... if not for you, for your loved one's. Good luck with it. There are very few smokers that managed to kick it their first attempt.

    Used to smoke, quitting was made easier by other half offering the ultimatum of smokes or sex - no brainer there lol
    Also makes the hangover less painful IMO
    It is amazing how you feel after the initial withdrawals so good luck with it.
    Seemed like a good idea at the time

    Thanks for the quit smoking advice guys.. I've actually quit before for like 8 months; it was stupid of me think I could get away with social smoking and not get fully hooked again! Starting to quit now by at least cutting back with the intension of quitting fully soon. As for my GU 2.8TD quitting smoking with me, iv'e eliminated most causes except for wearing piston rings.. Hopefully the money I save from me quitting smoking will pay for the new rings!

    Wish me luck....

    Good luck mate. 9 years smoke free after smoking 50 to 70 a day.

    Made a promise to myself then, if I give up the smokes I will never drink White Label burbourn again! Black or Better, Top shelf or nothing. Fair promise and one that stands today.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
