meh, looks exactly the same as the $26 version except I think it heats up to 150C

Tested mine today. Run it for about 2 hours. The plug didn't get hot at all, the lead did get a little warm but I don't think its an issue. The unit itself did get quite hot, I would be careful as to what it sits on during use.

Really? The plastic outer of mine doesn't get warm at all.
I better have a closer look tomorrow. Maybe check the inside temp.
