I just thought I would put this up as an interest piece,

Storm Thorgerson passed away yesterday,

For those who may not know who he is, you would no doubt know his work, he is the man who designed a lot of the album covers for the artists we have mentioned in this thread,

Some who come to mind are:

Pink Floyd
Black Sabbath
Peter Gabriel
Led Zeppelin, just to name a few.

Very talented man, if you get a chance look at some of his work, it is brilliant

And another bit of interest, Storm was a cousin of a mate I grew up with. I can remember him (my mate) telling me about the formation of Hipgnosis, his design company, & showing me a couple of pre production album covers. (Can't remember which band(s) though.) I never met Storm, but I did meet his mum, my mate's aunty Vanji.
Claim to fame via distant association eh.!
