Tyre pressure for Bridgestone D697 A/T

    Hi everyone,

I have recently bought 4 Bridgestone Dueler D697 A/T for the patrol. Size is 265/70/R16.

I normally have 38psi in them for around town (Alice Springs) but on reading the tyre it says 65psi. Does anyone know what I should be running this tyre at for around town? 65psi seems abit over the top to me.

    Thanks

38 is fine never put 65 in them ,
When I brought my Patrol I was disappointed in the ride thought it should ride "softer" than it did.
Went to check pressures and all 4 were on 65psi, I rang the lady to please explain and her
answer was "thats what written on the Tyre wall" I adjusted back to 35 and WOW what a difference.
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

I think 65 might be their safety margin!

Thanks for your reply Threedogs and NP99. I will continue to run them at 38psi around town. Didnt think 65psi was right.

Id run 40 make them last and wear better that's what i have in my micky mtzs at work we never put what's on the side wall as that's a MAX pressure so ya need to allow for expansion on hot days and weights
