    Hi Swampy.
The double row Aurora's are a 3w LED. The single row Aurora's are a 5w LED.

By the way, that price includes shipping.

    Thanks,
    Paul

Even though the double 3w has more LED, but does the 5w put out as much light in the single. Just interested in what your thought is. Or details.

    Hi Megomonster.
The 3w double row Aurora's have 14400 lumens and the 5w single row Aurora's have 19600 lumens.
So obviously a difference however the double rows at $600 are amazing value.

    Cheers,
    Paul

Wow, thanks Paul, I thought it would be the case but not by that much.

At $695 for a 40" single row 5w Aurora is just as good a value, if not better.

    Hi Swampy.
I don't stock the 5w double row. I can get them in for you and I've got an order in place at the moment so could possibly add to my order however as it is not a line I normally stock I would require a deposit.

    Thanks,
    Paul

    Hi,
What kind of housing are these in?I have seen a few in mining applications up to 7 inch and they weigh more than my 22inch 5w as they have a large heat sink and housing. These dont look any where near the size, how well do they dissipate the heat.

    Cheers

Hi Ben and thanks for your enquiry.
The housing is made of diecast aluminium. There is a picture of the dimensions of these lights on our website with each 10w lightbar however the body is 76.39mm high and 86.5mm deep. The pictures do not give a good indication of the size of these lights.
They are not small like a typical 5w lightbar housing. There are some small 10w lightbars available however our manufacturer is staying away from this design at the moment after testing some and the housing becoming very hot. LED's will last a very long time providing they are kept cool and the heat generated is dissipated appropriately hence the bigger housing.
$$ for lumen output they are great.

    Cheers,
    Paul

Just ordered a set from Paul for my Prado (don't hurt me). 2 x 10" & 1 x 20" both single row Aurora 5w led bars. Paul was extremely helpful and answered many of my questions promptly.

Will post a some photos of the setup once it's all in!
