Good to see your on the home stretch and it's all starting to come together. After our chat the other night and until I read this thread, it was hard to understand the humongous task you took on. I think I would have given up a long time ago and just bought another one. But, your perseverance and patience shows in these pics. WELL DONE! and NO! you can't park that next too mine! It just looks too good! Looking towards seeing it all done Steve, and you back behind the wheel! and behind the camera for some nice shots of the finished product....

Yes ,my pic thread has suffered a lot with us not going to the nice places as we often would, not having the troll, has taken a toll, thats for sure.

Look forward to hitting some tracks with you in the near future Steve, im keen to see how your monster truck tyres go off road

Ive got a bit more done this week, ive been limited by the rain, so decided to install my onboard air compressor set up, im over doing the compressor in the bag thing (plus mine died)

During my rollover repairs, i kept thinking the big void in the LHR gaurd is a waste of space, and how good would it be to install a compressor hidden inside, i also wanted a air tank, ive still got plumbing and wiring to do, but this is what ive ended up with so far.......

Its a tight fit, i went with a 9L tank, and twin TJM compressors, they are not the fastest or most powerfull of pumps, but are reliable (and i got them at the right price), having the tank should help them a little, i will put the pump/s "on" switch near the driving position (will have auto pressure cut out, when tank is full), that way ,i can turn pumps on and pre fill the tank "before" i stop to air up.

I also plan to put seperate fuses on each pump, and one way valves on each of the pump output lines (before the tank), that way the system will still pump up tyres ,even if one pump should fail, and air wont ever bleed back out through the pumps as well.

The bottom two gaurd bolts not only see all this muck, but the threads protrude through the bottom of the captive nuts in the sill, and so are exposed to "everything", the first time i removed these bolts the bolt heads snapped off (i thought, no big deal on a old car)

So I replaced them all with new bolts, and 12 months later when i went to remove them again (after the roll), they snapped off again, its only the very bottom 2 bolts that are a problem, but i thought i may as well replace "all" of the gaurd bolts with stainless, only because they came in a box of 50 or so.

Before i put the front passenger seat in, i fitted this folding meal tray id removed from a kia carnival, it has its own gas strut, so you just pull it and it pops up, push it down and it stays in the stow away position.

Seems to hold a fair bit of weight, more than enough for what my daughter will ever put on it, food, drinks, drawing, dvd player etc.
That is fairly similar to the later model ST-L's and Ti's, but better, in that they are the right colour....

    Well done

Wish I'd thought of this spot for the AirTank - before I put the put the drawers in.....

I dont think you would normally imagine the amount of room in the LHR gaurd, unless as i did, you already had the trims off, im pretty sure the Ti models have the rear A/C fan unit in this space ?
