The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

OK Just got off the phone with Brett from 4x4 Obsession in Melton!! Crazy stuff.

He is astounded that this car has done a H260! Big Diff and Bullet proof! Crazy Stuff for a family car to smash a H260.

The H260 is much harder to get the parts for and get really bloody expensive for Genuine Nissan gear.

Brett has called a mate and has bought out of his own pocket a second hand H260 3rd Member ready to bolt straight in! No Charge.

I will go and see Brett later this week and he will supply a front end rebuild kit, a second hand H260 4.3 diff centre and front and rear diff gaskets from Nissan!

Thanks Brett, your a generous man.

Leave the wreckers too me, i'll sort out the gear box even if i have to rebuild it my self!! And i'll chase up a manual climate control aswell
When do you need it by? I might be able to get it this week, but its a struggle as all my work at the moment is down the coast in Geelong all the way to Colac. So I am a semi permanent resident of Point Lonsdale for the next few weeks... But I am going home tomorrow, hopefully to start packing for the family camping trip this weekend.

Changing that over is a one stubbie job mate.

You want me to get the bolts too for the lhs recovery bracket? I reckon 3/4UNF by 1 1/2 long will be right. I take it there will be an arc welder at AB's
