The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Bring them so we can see which one has the least amount of wear!

The bearings look to be in very good condition.. Drewboyaus is waiting for his mate at ARB to get back to him about these items and a few other things????

If not I was going to scoot up to RooDogs and just get a seal kit from there??

Still the big problem is the gearbox... everything else we have the means and the talent but to not be spending half our budget just on a gearbox is proving to be hard, Andy is looking into an option tomorrow to see $$$$$

The inner axle seal is the only seal holding fluid. The inner axle seal is often damaged on the left side (long side) when refitting the long axle.

Grab a full kit mate and we will just do it anyway. That diff oil will have washed out the grease anyway, good onya mate.
I haven't done them since i was an apprentice so i'm a bit vague, i'll do at crash course on yours mate!! Lol

See what we can scrape together and worst case if we buy too many parts we could return them or exchange for other stuff, yeh?

I can email Garry at Nizzbits for a price on the seal kit if you like, I am chatting with him about inner seals for my GU diffs for next weekend and could add to the order.

Can we get a second hand gearbox from somewhere?? Got to be better than the one in it??
