The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

That is the hub that is leaking again mate.........

George and I are buggered... err well I am anyway and we gave the car a good going over.

The big bugger of a set back as far as stretching our dollar is 4th gear syncro is stuffed and we are looking at options, Andy is looking into some options but if someone has a gear box lying around on there front lawn........ eerr?????

I am told that the 4.2 petrol is different to the zd30 gearbox?????

George will post up some of the other things needed later..

I have got 4.5L of LSD oil I am happy to donate but unfortunately I am up in QLD. Also I have found using newspaper is a great substitute for rags when doing swivel hub kits. (Used to replace cv's after every trip in my old sierra)

Did you do the seal on the actual swivel hub or was it the seal for the wheel bearing hub that goes onto the stub axle ???

Hey Healy, can you confirm that both sides were done and a full swivel hub and King Pin bearing kit was put on the car?? Very important. If its fresh and leaking then we might get away with just inner axle seals??

Can you have a look at the paperwork or give the bloke a call and confirm exactly what he did and what he fitted please
