    ZD30TDI removal of clutch fan

I have tried to search this and found everything but,

So here it is "i am considering removing the clutch fan from my ZD30DI and using a thermo fan instead using the existing electrical clutch fan connection if possible to operate the thermo fan.

I also run an additional thermo fan at the moment which keeps temps down to max 88deg at 140k with outside temps around 38deg, so i don't have any over or hi temp probs, as i see this will free up more HP from the engine

Has anyone tried this, has there been any over heating problems.

    Thoughts comments would be great

    Does anyone see this working,
