great site guys
just a quick note to say what a gr8 site this is.i joined other patrol sites but this one is by far the best.i recently bought a99 gu ute--4.2 diesel--it had had a bit of a hard life -but ihave been giving it a bit of a spruce up.i started by removing tray,stripping back paint on chassis,rust converted the lot,primed and painted it.i put redline oils in gearbox and diffs&trans.new shocks,steering dampner,removed back tank and replaced as it was leaking.i am doing pump and injectors this week and have had the body resprayed.aswell as new front windscreen.oh yeah and new desert duelers all round!!--i have fisholened all areas aswell as spraying lanolin in all other areas.i am also looking at doing the brakes and f itting a canopy in the near future.i am chasing a set of side steps also.so if anyone knows where to get any of those things -pls let me know.i paid $14500 for her when i bought it so i knew she needed some tlc--but its a labour of love===i have always wanted a patrol.so if anyone can help me me --all good--cheers guys--you will be seeing my name on here regulary!!!
