Can't recall exactly how long..... have blanked it from my mind! Probably a couple of hours up & a bit less coming back down. (Seemed like much more at the time!).
Definitely worthwhile though, something everyone should do once..... when in that part of the country.
I reckon you must've missed my 'Go West' clue.

Still no help never seen that rock formation ever, but will put it on the "TO DO" list for sure,
so now we're in WA, has to be sth wst as only sand dunes Nth of Perth,
Albany, Busselton , the giant forrest, nah got nothing,
