    T 3/4 Turbo.

I'm currently looking at a RB30 Patrol and the bloke selling it has a T 3/4 Turbo with a long runner manifold. None of it is hooked up but apparently it was in the old motor. He says he was getting 130 rwkw @7psi on 35's. The thing I'm concerned about is how well the turbo will actually work. He's getting rid of the rig for rather cheap (Approx 4.5k) So I'm going to assume that the turbo isn't a highly reputable one. Can anyone see any future problems with this, and how well do you think the RB30 with a t3/4 turbo will go?

I'm not sure if it's genuine or not. I'm assuming not based on the low price of the car, which it my concern. I'm still deciding whether or not it'd be worth looking at.

I'd message the bloke tomorrow but I have so many questions for him, I just don't want to hassle him too much haha.

    T 3/4 Turbo.

Does the manifold look like thissorry for the crap quality its an old pic.
Anyway these crack, the T3/4 turbo if its a T3 hi flowed to T4 thats fine coz its oil and water cooled, if its only oil cooled then its like a Ebay special and i've cracked 1.
Rb30 motors are tuff as, i drove a vl with a cracked head for 2 years lol and when i don the head i lowered the comp and slapped a turbo setup on it and it loved it it.

The car at 4.5k sounds cheap but it depends whats done to it, if its all stock apart from the setup then i would say that high coz i could get a bog stock 1 clean as for 3g's just depends what its got yeh.

    Thanks for the reply mate.

This is the picture he has of all the turbo gear that comes with it (I have no idea if anything is missing as I don't know jack about turbo setups) The car also have quite a few mods to it such as: 2" body, 3" spring, Roof rack, 35's, tube winch bar, heavy duty clutch, rear quarter chop.

Do you think it would be worth looking at for around 4-5k?

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
