Hmmmm? that happened to me too but i ejected the SD card and reinserted it and the error disappeared?

I haven't had a play with it yet.
I am going to be a Tarmac Escort Vehicle at the Avalon Airshow in a couple of weeks and I will certainly be getting it sorted for then. There is going to be some great footage of some awesome planes

Actually this is what happened to me mate. I headed to the meetup after recieving my new memory sticks in the mail that day. I did not do the immediate update that is required out of the box. When I went to view the footage when I got back if came up as an error.
Fortunately I had a second SD card and used the second blank card to run the update off the GoPro site. After that I put the other used card in and there they were.
Have you done the upgrade mate?

Yeah I have done the upgrades. I have already stuffed around with it prior to this, but my laptop couldnt handle the highest quality so I dropped it to 1080. Yesterday was round 2, which is gone.
On another note I had another crack at it today, It works!! it was just a drive around town with the skeleton case on it trying to see what the sound is like.

Where did you get the skeleton case? I can't seem to find one for a GoPro 3? Thinking of buying a spare case for $65 I think and drilling appropriate holes in it
