Gday All,
Just finished mounting up my new Icom in the GQ. I liked what people had done with the GME and Uniden slim units and thought a Icom looked about the right size to fit in the hole without too much modification. So here goes. I warn you though about the iPhone quality photos

This radio is great so far, it has been modified slightly to make it a much more powerful unit

Began with pulling the Facia off the dash, Mmm I like wires


The hole needed to have the little notches that the ashtray catches on filed off and the metal slider removed to look a bit like this.


Slip the radio in


Put your dash back together


And fire it up
