    Thanks for the update Alex.

It will be interesting to see if this also stops your air conditioning from cutting out on hot days now.

    Cheers Rodney

Hi Guys , just update air-con worked fine in traffic so all good there , but being a Hot day I ran out of LPG, turn on the petrol and boy did it run like a pig , she stalled about 6 times and wouldn't start ,waited 5 mins then it would start , drove off ,but car was lucking power. pulled in servo ,got some injector cleaner and top up fuel with some hi octan ,50 k's down the road it start to run normal before I got home . ? I started thinking I may have a blocked fuel filter, and on GU 4.5 , where would that be !!! regards Alex

On the 4.5 the fuel filter is in the engine bay on the drivers side more or less under the battery

Running the rear A/C won't help if the A/C system is over gassed.

In theory it should make it worse as the condenser has more heat to transfer.

I still think your A/C cutting out on hot days is/was due to a cooling system fault and the ECU was switching the A/C off because the cooling system temperature was getting too high.

Possible due to the thermostat being stuck open and allowing coolant to pass to quickly through the radiator, not giving it enough time to cool down the coolant?????..... maybe?
