If you were to mount it to the front of your Pod above the roof of your cab it would be in the same position as mine. Great spot. To make sure it is on and working i look at the top of my Snorkel and the light reflects of that.

As if you can't tell by the fact that you've got almost 20,000 lumens in front of you?? Hahahaha
