    Jacket's TD42 wagon.

Bought this around 6months ago. came with:

    UHF
    31's
    ARB bar
    IPF spotties
    Safari snorkel
    ARB Scrub rails
    2in tough dog lift. . . . . . .

what can i do to it to make it better??? remember i'm a "beginner", i drive it daily, and take it offroad whenever i can. I go camping, fishing, shooting every week in it. i also drive it for work.

You can whack some 37s on Walker Evans Bead Locks. SS Snorkel I reckon. At least a 4" lift with maybe Drop arms? I can't say I have seen your thread on P4x4 but I bet it looks nothing like those pics now....
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Getting it into my name.

So i needed to transfer rego to vic. . . . which means a RWC.
Few bits to fix, but nothing major. Last pic is in my driveway, that's how it looked the day before being reg'd in vic.

Bhhhaaaaa! Ah sorry Jacket. Popped the baloon. Do your thing mate, I have not seen your white one but have seen a number of your high quality buildups with keen interest and admiration. A bit of envy thrown in there to on occasion.

I remember when you posted pics of a decommissioned Winch Challenge truck you found basically in a paddock!!! Walker Evans and all!! All I could say was "Lucky Lucky Bastard!!"

Can't wait to see this one bud. Post away.

But it took another week or 2(which felt like a month at the time) for my Shocks to arrive. so i drove it around stock. . . . . AGONY!
also at this point i was having to wait for my rear old man emu coils to be made because ARB were clean out of stock.
This is just up the road from my place above Boolarra.

    Kings arrived.

My shocks arrived, so my suspension and airlocker went in. . . . . . always worth waiting for king smoothies.

Everything went in sweet, a few stripped nuts and de-threaded bolts and studs, but thats the way cookies crumble.
this is the night i picked it up from the workshop after the lift went in.

    wheels.

I had a set of new simex ET2 35/11.50-16's, on Allied 16x8 alloys sitting here, so i decided to throw them on for the time being. this is the morning after the suspension went under it.
I actually really liked the look of these as a wheelset. and the low-speed clearing characteristic's of the 2 lug pede's really worked with the NA td42.
