    E-Locker

    Hello my fellow poo-ey owners,

just got a quick question about the eaton e-locker

has anybody had experience with these things are they any good, is the price good etc.

I don't really wanna have to shell out my hard earned for air lockers and compressor and all the other bits if these e-lockers are a more efficient unit

any help would be awesome thanks guys

    Hi Mat,

I have heard nothing but good things about the elocker. What kind of $$ are they asking for one?

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

I am in the process of gathering prices and availability and I am looking at putting one in the front of both of my patrols. The prices seem to comparable to that of an air locker but you don't have to buy a compressor so you save money there.

Yeah I have heard heaps of good things about elockers. They are a little more expensive than a air locker from what I have heard but way more reliable.

My mate got stuck in his 60 when the front air locker hose got snagged and broke. (should let you know the unlocked Patrol got up no probs)
Imagine if he had have had an e-locker it would have been all too easy to rejoin that wire

I have a Elocker and after having ARB lockers for many years I simply would never ever go back to them.. The Elocker IMO is the best manual locker on the market.. Works every time I turn it on and turns of every time I turn it off... Un like the Air locker for witch I had endless trouble with..... Go with the Elocker and you will not look back!!!!!!
