Hard days fishing again, grammar school was dead, dead, dead. Moved around alot, went across to Alcoa not much there either. Then back down past point Lillius, just behind the marine farm was the most productive. Six whiting, eight flatties, a small gummy shark, 4 banjos in about half an hour. Was there last year with the boat, was very windy, got 2 whiting very small behind the wall was reasonably sheltered. Then went around the front got some pinkies but was way too rough for my tinny.

Go to port fairy off the bream wall used to get tons of fish ther unless ther a seal around . Try the pier alot of people fish of that, so if u see ink on it go out at night near the ink for squid!Originally Posted by stevogq

Today I launched from Avalon back beach boat ramp. Small ramp, no fees and very shallow, so not a lot if people use it. Only about 10 trailers parked there today. Yesterday I launched at Queenscliff for the squid.
