Also just cheak that ur new battery is good by running a meter over it and also make sure that the terminals are clean n have a good connection. If all above is good its remote time
Ok tell me after replacing the battery your remote light turn on when you press any button or lock/unlock button? If its turns on the light then you can try this for temporary. You can hold the button for 20 - 30 secs. I know its works because I also faced this kind of situation. Good Luck
