It's a must on a gummy shark, to be bleed straight away. I have also found that eating fresh gummy shark is as good as freezing it when I fillet it and then eat it. I don't know taste different to me.Originally Posted by Alitis007

Its a must on all sharks and salmon over 1.5kg's IMO but some people like the taste of mercury lol do you know how to "butterfly" the gummy ??? http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Qod7hnwz2zY i tried this last time i got 1 but i bled it out, got heaps of meat with little to no wastage then left it in the fridge over night to strain out in one of those this you strain spaghetti with into a bowl to catch the water, beer battered it and deep fried it OMG i almost ate my fingers haha
