G''evening Jas!
Mate, the Telegraph track is easy! You do not have to hard core to complete her. I did it with a D40 Navara with a 50mm suspension with 265x 16 tyres whilst towing a Jayco off-road camper!
It is about having a safe fun adventure! I am not into breaking my vehicle or camper trailer. I am taking my young 10 year daughter and my father with me next year. Some of the other folks have also young children.
Looking forward to you being part of the adventure!
Regards,
RLI

Hi RLI. Spoke to the missus and we're a definite. I'll be towing a Johnnos camper so add me to the list. Can't wait!

Did I say I can't wait! Something I've always wanted to do so another tick on the bucket list! I'm on the Nav forum too (Jase) but haven't been there for a while since I traded the D22 for the Patrol.

Hi RLI,
If everything works out I'll be up there in Jul/Aug 2013, a bit earlier than your convoy. Also towing a Jayco off-road camper. Getting longer in the tooth so for me it's going to be safety first if I want to stay married (and I do). Good to hear you had no issues with towing the camper, interested to know did you take it all the way to the top or leave it in secure storage along the way? I've heard some conflicting reports about how suitable the track is for campers.
Cheers
G''day mate!
In the previous response to Jas, the 3 photos are of travelling on the Developmental Road and the Telegraph Track. I drove the Jayco all the way to the top and back via the Gulf Country!
