Great setup.

Im slowly going through the same process of setting up a touring camper. I have a couple of questions if you dont mind. How much diesel do you carry and how do you store it?, how important is it to you that the pod is smaller than the cabin?? How heavy is your truck now with everything done? particularly when loaded up for touring???

Do you ever regret not having a removable canopy with wind up legs??

Harro we have only done 1 real trip in it since it was built up, that was following the darling so no need for a lot of gear and the fuel tanks were plenty.

Next year is a biggie and will have 5 20ltr gerrys as well as the OEM tanks that hold 180ltr and they are stored in the pod in boxes I have made.

The pod came like that, when I made a new "tray" for it to sit on I got the centre of gravity as low as I could, then when I decided on body blocks the cab was made the same as the pod.

No idea on weight as I have not fully loaded it.

PITA takin it off and on, its my toy so having a tray is not what Im after.

Used the steel tray to make a trailer for our work.
