has anyone replaced or modified their centre console? i just find the original 1 in my 1991 patrol is a waist of space. the front of it cant hold anything without sliding onto the floor when ya go round a corner. any pics of modified 1's would be great for ideas.
Plenty have replaced with a 30ish liter Waco fridge with the 2 can holders in the front. Been told its a nice little mod and a nice fit

I made a centre console out of expander foam in the ute, lined the floor with black plastic,used cardboard for sides, poured the foam in then shaped it when it cured

Always liked the idea of the waeco center console, only reason i havent, the cup holders are too small for anything, and they're not chilled.
