    You could run a wire to it and mount a switch just inside the back door for you to remotely switch it or install a door switch. Power it off the back of your 12v plug in the back and fused. If you don't have a 12v socket at the back then this is the perfect time to install one

    Alternatively, there will be a hot wire going to that light anyway, just cut into it and extend that wire to a switch in the side panel and back to the light. Go off the back of the switch on the light. The light switch would remain in the permanently ON position and you would now switch from the panel.

    I have LED strip lighting on both back doors and switched independently to each side panel. Works Great!
