Did just wire up a headphone jack to the front door speakers. Now I can have music when stuck in the bush and not run the battery flat its not too loud but it's better than the nothing that was there.

Is that even possible? Wouldn't you need some sort of amp. I'm sure if I got a headphone jack connected it 2 my phone and the other end I connected it to the speakers nothing would happen

well you can get little speakers that play straight off the phones with no batteries but they are tiny never seen anything like it for a car.

Should only run the phone flat as quick as listening through headphones normally, the car has no stereo so I just wired a headphone jack to the speaker wires for the front speakers. It's not loud but still heaps louder than my iPhone speaker haven't tested it on the road yet but I reckon you'll still be able to hear it. I also have a 2x100w amp that has a volume knob that I could wire in if I feel the need. I think I could be onto something, who needs the radio or CD's these days anyways? Probably just saved myself $150 and a heap of wiring hahaha.
