    Thanks for sharing the project!

Are you going to keep the chassis black?
Not sure on learning lead wiping just yet - don't even know what it is!!!! lol

Yep, black chassis, polished alloy bullbar, alloy tray and midnight metallic blue for the cab is what he wants (I want a tube bar and steel tray for rear weight, but seeing as he can't afford it, it doesn't happen!).

Maybe some nice checker plate scuff guards on the entry rather than the tired old plastic ones ... we discussed building a full roof console last night also, so to say he's pumped at the prospect of having a slick looking rig is somewhat of an understatement!!

Lead wiping is like bog but gives a far better finish and a much better surface to paint. It use to be the norm but now cause of the health concerns with lead it is not seen as much. This is what im led to belive lead wiping is hope im right lol.

Also they lead filled all seams for a clean smooth look. Sucks doing it on my mates cortina we're removing rusty panels and need to use the oxy to get the lead out to remove the panels. Its been fun helping and learning with the rig. Scotty if you want cheap rear steel tray we can custom fabricate one for under 200 easy sell the other trays and you'll make money plus a custom tray with hidden storage compartment for tools recovery gear and tyre mount. Judy saying 3mm checker plate $80 and 2 or 3 lengths of 100 x 50 rhs maybe 40 to 60 a length it would look tough and some weight over the wheels
