    Lightbulb 2011 3.0l crd

    Hi guys was just wondering what engine mods should I do to my 3.0 CRD ute to make it more reliable and get longer use from the motor and if possible some links or websites where I can find the products so I know the ones I find are of good quality. Would be of great help thanks.

    Hey mate, theres not a great deal to make it more reliable. There a good engine stock. If you want to make it breath better you could put a bigger dump pipe and exhaust, but you will than have to put a dawes valve or similar to stop over boosting. Put a couple of guages in to let you know what the engine is doing. Keep good oil in her and change oil and filters regularly.

    Definitely need a pillar pod. Catch can and might put in a chip later on after exhaust. Zorst?

    Getting the hang of it, gauges are the first thing you need to do, then you'll be able to see what happens with other mods.
    highly recommend

    Zorst = exhaust
    I put chip and exhaust straight away. It really does make a difference with a little more power and more economical. Well that's what I found anyway.

    For gauges, highly recommend ultra gauge, best $69 ever spent

    Ohhhhh rito yeah I was thinking it might have been an exhaust I've been looking at a taipan exhaust with steinbauer chip for down the track. And I'll have to have a look at ultra gauge for sure and if they that price sounds good to me. Cheers

    I would be carefull about blanking the egr on a crd. theres more to it than just a blanking plate. These engines have sensors to detect the egr so you have to have a hole in the plate to keep sensor happy. To me it defeats the hole purpose. On my previous Di engine yes I did blank
