Well frock me! Who woulda thought i could dribble so much, actually nearly everyone whos met me either here or in the "real world" probably aren't surprised at all! For you guys n gals here just be thankful ya dont actually have to hear my voice for real hahahhahaha its not what youd call angelic.
So how did it start, i never used a computer except an xbox until a coupla years ago when i got a new job and they said here ya go youll be needing this. What the eff for im a builder! Communicating they tells me. (thought thats what a phone was for)
Anyway then i discovered a thing called google, but being a work computer big red X would always pop up and tell me no no no youre not allowed to search for such things hahahahahahhahaha
Okay back on track. So oneday i saw under Agatha a dribble of oil coming from a swivel hub. mmmmmmm that needs fixing. Head on down the street and buy a Gregorys manual. What a crock of sh1t they dont make em like they used to. The ol holden ones were much better, now even the paper theyre printed on are like snot rags brilliant for greasy fingers, and they dont even have a hard cover. Hang about Google's my friend surely i'll find something there.
Yup patrol4x4 forum comes up, so i join, the manual they got was crap and the mentality of some was crap also, think i may have one post there not sure. So the search continues. Anyway finally work out with wifes help how to download stuff (shes a senior exec with a massive IT company and gets reeeeeeely frustrated with my computer illiteracy). Then reading off a screen doesnt seem natural so i start asking questions and even used the search button. Wallah YNOT's (Tony where are ya now!!!) pictorial on replacing GU wheel bearings comes up, so armed with me lappy and Tonys awesome post and a shitty gregorys manual away i go.
Oh yeah there was someone else who left an early impression. I posted something like "any advise how to replace swivel hub seals?" And a member ya may of heard of one Scotty AKA Big Rig or Biggus Riggus then Biggerus Moderarterus pipes up with ":yeah dont F*ck it hahahahaha or LOL or maybe ROFLMAO. Took me a while to work out its not Lots of Love hahahhahaa. Rekon Finly or Rossco posted a shipload of compooter acronyms and theyre meanings. Then i was hooked reading the antics of the westies Clunk, Nowoolies, Timbar, Dogman (who have i missed) joined on Night shift(NS) by Katwoman Ynot, wild98, Bob (also daily thoughts from BoB) They were all forum security keeping the manual grabbers and spammers at bay. Also Patch piping up when no one thought he was watching hahahahaha. Then all the other characters Roofy (ya dont get em much more true blue than you ol m8) Nisspat (nisshead) Ill let you guys judge that one hahahahaa hes soft when it comes to chilli hahahaha.Awesome build threads Mudrunner from the ground up by Dazza, Tanks ever evolving thread. Big Rig and Dhuck setting out and filming weekend adventures with great commentry from both (all be it colourful which i love hahaha damn family friendly hahahaha). Then Snicko rocked up after a rough trott on that other forum we all thought she was a he for a while then all the secret womens business came out with Kat n snicko. Ahhh the good ol days hahahahahahaha and its just getting better all the time with all the clowns and characters here. Forum meetup at Loveday this year was greatly anticipated and did not disappoint. I got to meet a heap of members including a bloody nubby kidnapping yota driving Danny from 4wdtv(well driving a real 4b on that occassion) Darren and family hypnotising yabbies and cooking up a storm(mudrunnertd) Roofy and the new mrs Roofy, Belz, Timbo, Uncle Plassy, Fixer (where ya hiding mate) wild Pete and ya mate with the HAIR hahahaha. The geezas in the yota from darrens club.AB the man the legend mate gotta get yaself some of those kangaroo legs, Who have i missed hahahahahaha KRIS what a funny effer you are, I dont rekon ive laughed so hard in all me life ytoure a frockin clown in the very best of ways, spewin i cant make it up to the QLD meetup you lot that are going are in for a reeeeeel treat hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha pics n vids everyone pics and vids.
