thanks for that. looks like a good setup.
thought i'd throw up some pics of a few things ive done to the mav in the week or so ive had it.
new sterio, SAAS steering wheel. and some VT calias seats.( made the brackets to move the seats across 40mm ) so much better.
its booked in tomorrow for new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder then off to the tyre shop to get the new boots fitted i bought today. 33x12.5 bighorns.
and hopefully buy end of week my new suspension will have turned up. fingers crossed.
anyway his a few pics with more to come once tyres and suspension have been fitted.
Got any pics of the bracket mod mate?
IF YA DONT GET STUCK YA AINT TRYIN HARD ENOUGH........OR YA TOOK THE CHICKEN TRACK![]()
WARNING: TOWBALLS USED WITH SNATCHSTRAPS DO KILL!!
i didnt think to take a pic. but i have to take the passanger side out as the runners are r@@ted and replace them so ill take a few pics then and post up
Anyone have any passanger side runners lying around as my local 4x4 wreckers are theithing bastards and wanted $250 as they wont seperate runner from the seat.
same old story with motor cars. fix on thing and something else stuffs up....lol. finally got around to fixing up the clutch hydralics. new master cyl, slave cyl and fitted a new hydralic line as the old was looking a little sad.
went for a drive to maccas last night and i now dont have dash lights or tail lights fitted new fuse and popped it straight away. should be fun tracking the short down....not.
but on happier note. new boots fitted today. 33x12.5 bighorns. also removed the old broken fibreglass flares and fitted some bunnings flares. (not everyones cup of tea but cheap and do the job).
even had time to do a quick run up along the railway line near home. nothin to hard but still enjoyable.
pics to follow shortly.
I'd start at the trailer plug wiring if it has one.
or any added aftermarket lights or wiring.
i had a quick look at trailer plug and removed tail lights earlier to have a look its pretty wild in there. there wired the trailer plug off the drivers side tail light very ruff. out of time to fix wiring now as im heading back to work at 2.30 in morning. i sort it once i get back home.
went for a bit of a play up along the railway near home again today and got my first bit of panel damage. nothin to bad and nothin a quarter chop wont fix.
1st pic. driving a wash out. pic makes it look easier than it really is. very narrow and and steep banks.
2nd pic. the damage. also got a bit in the passanger front door
3rd pic. had to break in the new shoes. lookin rather dirty after a big bog hole.
